In reply to Gloria Lewis. Sure, you could blend or grind, as long you get a smooth paste at the end of the day, you will be ok. I used scotch bonnet peppers. I have edited the jollof rice recipe to include an image. Thanks for your feedback

What do you mean by ‘Ground tomatoes’? Can you use canned tomatoes? If not, what type of tomato should you use? Do you seed the tomato or take the skin off?
