I am going to try making this tonight. I am going to do with hard boiled eggs but I will not be using fish chunks. I have had moi moi before provided by Nigerian friend and there was no fish in it and was a hard boiled egg in the middle of them. It was so good. I want to make it the same way he made them!

Its more better to use warm water while mixing it make the quantity of the grinded beans to double in size(rise up).

Hello Chidi, I followed your moimoi recipe and it was slightly bitter. I removed the seeds from the shombo and took it to the public machine for blending. It was quite tasty though, just the little bitterness. God bless you for touching so many lives and making me a better mum and wife. My family looks forward to my meals and it’s all thanks to you 😘

I serve moi moi and pap in my home. Something I pair with jollof rice or even bread. I learned about this combo from my secondary school days. Moi moi and bread was one of the best snack i ever had. Have you tried it? You should.

Thanks for teaching this recipe, although i’ve cocked this before, but the challenge i av is that water enters it, even though i use nylon. more so, it takes time to cock, above 1 hour i don’t know why.

AFTER TAKING THE LIQUID CONTENT FROM CAPRISONNE, U CUT THE TOP OF THE SACHET WITH SCISSORS TO OPEN WELL & WASH IT. U TURN IT DOWN 2 DRAIN WATER OUT. U DO SAME 2 AS MANY U WANT. AFTER MIXTURE OF D BEANS & OTHER INGREDENTS, U POUR SOME IN2 IT & POSITION IT IN A STANDING POSITION IN THE POT. THE WATER IN THE POT SHOULD NOT BE MUCH SO WHEN IT STARTS BOILING, IT DOES NOT BOIL IN2 THE MOIMOI. CHECK TIME TO TIME TO PREVENT BURNING. WHEN IT IS READY 2 SERVE, U REMOVE FROM THE POT, TURN UPSIDE DOWN IN A PLATE 4 A NICE SHAPE LOOK. I LOVE IT.
